HEALTH EDUCATION

Jane Nugent has designed and delivered courses to both undergraduate and postgraduate nursing students.  She has also taught other health professionals including counselling students.  Jane undertaken teaching for a number tertiary education facilities including the University of Otago, Victoria University, CPIT, Otago Polytechnic and Flinders University (South Australia). 

Jane is available to teach in existing courses or to design and deliver custom made courses and one off lectures. 

My skill is taking complex textbook pharmacology and pathophysiology and repackaging the information in a more ‘pallatible’ and clinically relevant way.  Jane’s students typically report that they have not only enjoyed the teaching sessions but have understood material that they previously could not make head nor tail of.  Jane’s course reviews are consistently positive and reflect the passion she imparts to her students.
