SPECIAL NEEDS ASSESSMENT AND EDUCATION

Emma Goodall has written and delivered a Special Educational Needs Teaching Diploma, which is sold worldwide by the Montessori Centre International (London, UK). She has worked as an educational consultant and special needs advisor for nearly ten years in both Europe and New Zealand.

Whanau and schools that have worked with Emma find her straightforward approach both honest and refreshing. Emma works with a solutions based model, which looks at what a child or adult needs to help them reach their potential. From that Emma is able to devise a plan and show others how to implement the strategies involved to work towards the goals that have been chosen by the team.

Emma has trained individual teachers and teacher aides as well as whole school staff, parents and the wider whanau in a range of areas of special needs, from specific learning difficulties, through physical and general learning difficulties, behavioural difficulties to complex and multiple difficulties.
